Randomness

Did I mention Addy just decided about two weeks ago she was ready to be potty trained? And just like that it was done. Even a weekend stay at Grandma and Grandpa's didn't cause any road bumps. Of course, you can attribute a lot to the jelly beans . . . she doesn't wait a second to remind you when she's done good and needs a bean! She quickly tired of the "elmo seat" and even the step stool. Now she just hikes herself up and hangs on, it is too funny!!

I'm still working on Addy's big girl room, its not done yet, but here is one of the projects we've been working on:
In the last few months I've noticed Addy getting more girly. She's now announced her favorite colors are pink and purple, she loves to layout and try on clothes and she's really getting into polly pockets and barbies. Tonight she was all decked out for some construction work - but she had to add the high heels and she called herself Hanny Manny Princess. :)

What Happens In Vegas . . .

. . . Stays in Vegas (Mostly)

I have to share a few shots of our trip, because:

1. This is what we've been doing and I don't have anything else to blog about

2. It makes me laugh to see these pictures

3. I gotta share them with the group, what a blast we had with everyone!!!!

Could a trip start out any better????? At the airport I run into one of my dearest and most long-time friends Xuan and her husband Tung. They are on their way to Vegas on our plane! Cool!! Oh yeah, did I mention it turns out they had the two seats right next to me? So we got to visit the whole way down? Crazy! It was great!

Brandy, Jeff, Scott and I got to hang out with Jeff's two brothers and their wives! What a bunch of fabulous people - loved them! We had a great time.

Rainbow and Coffee

After a simply wild wind storm last night, we started the day with a rainbow.


We met up for some coffee with the Pelton's. Gavin and Addy watched a little Scooby with their coffee. Too cute!


We ended the day with a car ride at Dirty Daves. (Jake's rule!)

Snow Time

Explore Washington is in full swing! Today we had a blast tubing with friends. Joe and Julie invited us to join them and family for a great day of tubing at the mountain. We all had a ton of fun. It was our first time tubing - very adventurous and learned something new about Washington - how fun it is winter time!

Follow-up Post

So, the first night went really well in the new bed. It took her a while to fall asleep but she did good. Sunday night she fell out! Oops. After some snuggles and bandaids for the "injuries" (apparently they were bleeding really badly, and I just couldn't see it) we got her tucked back in. Keep your fingers crossed. :)

Saturday night was Addy's first night in her big girl bed!! She is a little unsure of it still, but made it through the night and nap time today. Soon we'll have the whole room transformed into a big girl room.
