Busting at the Seams

Addy can barely fit in her bassinet anymore. She pretty much touches both the top and bottom. Compare her 4 month bassinet photos with her first week photos in the same bassinet. Big difference!

Superman with Daddy and Eating Fish

Addy likes a couple of things in life, superman flights and eating fish.

Here is a shot of Addy taking flight with daddy.

Addison is really into putting things in her mouth and sometimes she is a bit unrealistic about what is going to work. She decided it was time to get those fish on her mobile into her mouth. (Unfortunately the fish weren't cooperating that day.)

My New Hat

Addison got this great hat as a present. She tried it on and tasted it too! Isn't it cute?

Check out my new hat, I can wear it . . .

And I can eat it . . .

Thanks Auntie Lisa!

Grandpa's Visit

Grandpa T came and visited this morning and boy did Addy have some good fun! The center of entertainment turned out to be the dogs. They were feeling especially playful (they adore Grandpa T) and Addy loves to watch them growl, tug and chase toys around.

These dogs are pretty silly. What is all the fuss about?

Well, I guess these doggy toys are pretty fun, can I have one?

I sure had a great play date with Grandpa T. Come on over again real soon!

New Toys and Daycare

We've got some new toys around our place. Addison got a new entertainment center, which she is just starting to try out. Here are some photos of her playing in it:

Ollie has a new toy that isn't so fun. He had to have surgery on his foot and so he has to wear the big cone. He doesn't like it and mopes around the house with his head hanging down.

Daisy wanted to check out the camera thinking it looked like a fun toy, but when the flash went off she didn't care for it.

We got these cool hand puppets the other day, just to see if Little would like them, and she squeals every time they come out.

Addison is really adapting well to daycare. Brandy, her daycare provider, is a wonderful person with two great kids. They all take great care of Addison each day! Here is a shot of Addison with some of her new friends. Two of the kids are Brandy's and the other two are play date kids. Aren't they all so cute? Addison is a very lucky girl to spend time with such a great family.

Family, Friends and Toes

These last two weeks have been really great. We've had the opportunity to visit with family and friends galore. Last weekend was the big Seahawks vs. Bears playoff game and we were able to host both sets of parents at our house for a huge breakfast and game watching. The game didn't turn out the way it should have, but we managed to have lots of fun anyway.

We've hosted quite a few friends in the last couple of weeks which has given us an opportunity to catch up and share Addison with them. I am extremely excited for this afternoon, one of my dearest friends and her new husband are visiting with us from Massachusetts.

Addison in the mean time continues to amaze us - this morning she decided her toes were pretty neat. So, I got some pics of her checking them out:

Hey, what are those things down there?

These are pretty fun!

It is still cold around these parts, gotta wear my hat.

Three Months and Ramblings

With Christmas and New Years behind us we are moving into a new period in the Daukas-Todorovich household. I returned to work last week and Scott has been home with Addy. I am enjoying my return to work, it is hectic and it is a lot of work to get caught up - but I really enjoy being back. Scott has one more week off with Addison and then he will be returning to work and Addison will start daycare.

During his time with Addison, Scott has discovered one of Addison's passions - James Blunt. It must be the falsetto, that girl goes crazy when Scott sings her any James Blunt song. So, we sing a lot of his songs to her!

The start of 2007 is also the start of Scott's poker league. Their first game was last night and these guys were so jazzed. No one could sleep the entire week waiting for the 2nd annual Jack-7 classic on Friday night. After a year of fun tournaments, but no wins in 2006, Scott managed to pull off a win in the first tournament of the year! Scott "The Professor" Daukas is the champ for January.

The end of 2006 signals the end of fantasy football. For Scott it means now starting to plan for next year. For me it means a few months off from talking football. Well, at least after the Seahawks win the Superbowl. Tonight is their payoff game against Dallas - GO HAWKS!! I did enjoy my foray into the world of fantasy football this year, but with Addison coming along I didn't get as much time to focus. I think I'll secretly prep for next year and surprise all the guys by kicking some butt!

And of course Addison celebrated her 3 month birthday on Friday! She is weighing in at 15 and a half pounds now. She loves to sit up (with a little help) and is quite good at playing with her toys. She still hates tummy time, but lets us force her into it. Here are some pictures of Little:

Some of our friends told us that their daughter is better at tummy time when she's naked. So, we tried it with Little and it really seemed to work.

Grandpa Ted (as many of you know) is quite the squirrel lover. He takes good care of all their squirrels and has even been known to nurse one or two when they've needed it. In his honor Addison decided to celebrate these cute and furry friends with this too cute outfit.

And keeping with tradition - here is Addy's three month photo with the famous bear.
