Baby Visit

Our friend Geoff brought Noah for a visit last night. He is a month old and absolutely darling. We enjoyed spending time with them. Addy loved seeing the baby and got the chance to feed Noah a bottle. She was so excited and talked about it all day today.

Thanks for coming and visiting. Wish Crystal could have been there too! Feel better soon!

Brandy Days

We are so blessed to have Brandy in our lives. Addy loves Brandy and the kids - she looks forward to spending time with them every day. I was reminded of how lucky we are when Brandy sent these latest photos over. They really are very cute.

Gavin and Addy playing disney games on the computer:

Addy is really into her jammies right now and I sent a pair over for her to wear at Brandy's. Check out all the kids in their jammies together.

Thanks for all you do Brandy!

Chasing Santa!

Last night we were going to get the mail when we realized Santa was on his way! The fire truck with Santa was cruising the neighborhood, so we all stood on the corner and awaited his arrival. His fire truck passed our street and didn't turn down!! All the families (at least 10-12) raced to their cars, threw their kids in and hauled it down the street to where the trucks had stopped. Everyone got pictures and candy canes and donated some canned goods to a great cause.

Let me tell you, there is nothing like crazy parents on a mission! I turned around to take Little back to the car and realized that most of the neighbors didn't even bother to park on the side of the road. There were cars all over the street with doors hanging open, lights on and some still running. Too funny!

And half of us were already in pajamas. A couple people were in robes (like in the background of the picture) and some were like me in sweats or pajama pants. You can't say we aren't dedicated to Christmas!

Have a great weekend!

Baby Noah!

When we told Addy she was going to get to see a new baby today, Addy was set on looking pretty and taking her Elmo Hokey Pokey book. She took it with her and showed it to everyone at the hospital. (And I mean everyone, including the Christmas tree inside the baby center doors, each nurse we passed and the monitoring machines that were in the hallway.)

Congratulations Geoff and Crystal! Beautiful baby Noah was born on Saturday, November 29th.

Its beginning to look . . .

We (okay, I) did some decorating this weekend. Starting with a little Christmas pj outfit I got on Black Friday. She wore this literally ALL weekend, definitely her new favorite article of clothing. (She really isn't sad, just intent on the Mickey Christmas cartoon on the TV over my shoulder.)

And here is a sentimental picture. This is the Christmas tree my mom made for me when I was little. I wanted a pic of Addy in front of it. Still one of my favorite decorations for the holidays.

Looking a lot like Christmas around here!

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a great holiday with friends and family. We hosted for the first time ever. It turned out well! I was so happy. Thanks to the Pelton's and my parents who helped with the food.

On Thursday morning we still had an empty dining room thanks to some carpet issues we were were having. Furniture was all over the house. But we managed to get the room back together and set for the big event.

Of course there was the "big game". The Peltons are (groan) big Cowboys fans so all were looking forward to the game. Turned out to be rather boring, but we got some Madden Wii in too.
The kids had a ton of fun!

The food was great and the time spent with friend and family was the best part! (I am happy to report unlike two years ago, my pie did not stick to the pan this time!)

Addy saying "Happy Thanksgiving" to everyone at dinner.

Hope you all had a very happy holiday!
