We got to our place and then headed out to the river walk. Our primary purpose for this portion of the trip was this:
It is a dedicated park bench on the river walk to my Grandma and Grandpa Phillips. My Grandfather left a rather amazing legacy in this community. This bench is to honor to my Mom's family and it was great to finally see it in person, sit on it as a family and reflect on the greater meaning of family and legacies.
Then we headed to the most amazing park along the river walk. Really a beautiful park with tons of fun activities for kids and adults alike.
What a great start to the trip!
