Some Vacation Memories

We took off for two weeks to Disney World at the end of last month.  We enjoyed two weeks of very hot weather and great family time.  We haven't been down to WDW in the fall for a few years, so it was fun to see the parks decked out for fall and Halloween!

I  have no order to these photos, so I'll just share as we go.

Charlotte always finds something to enjoy no matter where we are or what we are doing.  She loves to run and explore.  She kept us on our toes but in a good way around the parks.  She loved to explore and check out every little nook and cranny.  Loves the water and ducks.

Our first two days were pretty wet - but at 85 degrees it doesn't feel too bad.  Does that stop Disney visitors?  Not so much?

Addy had a great two weeks.  We did so many fun things with her!  She continues to push her boundries on rides and finds she is quite the dare devil on the big coasters.

When Addy went at 2 she was terrified of all the characters.  Charlotte was just to opposite.  This was her first character sighting and I had to hold her back because she tried to cut the line to go visit Goofy!

Love this picture for a bunch of reasons.  First off, I love that we brave the weather and love every minute.  In fact, after the first couple of days it was sunny and about 90 every day - and that was freaking hot - we were wishing for some rain.

And we went to Universal Studios - our first visit in about 8 years.  We had a blast.  And I got to take Addy on my favorite ride - ET.

Rain or shine, Char was cool to sack out and catch some sleep on the go a few different days.

Charlotte's highlight at Universal Studios was by far the Barney show.  She was in heaven.  Not sure the rest of us felt the same, but it was great to see her dancing, clapping and singing along.

Addy even ventured out on her own and stood in line by herself and rode this small coaster all by herself.  She was so proud.

We had so much fun enjoying the sunny weather.  We tackled the water parks almost every day and at Universal they has this fabulous Curious George water world to explore.  Both girls had a blast. I learned quickly to keep swimsuits with us at all times - so many opportunities for water fun!

And enjoyed a couple of visits to Margaritaville.  Very nice!

Stay tuned for a few more posts on the remaining vacation memories. :)
