Animals and Characters, Oh my!

I know its never ending - but there is too much to share. Hang in there and some day we will be moving on from disney pictures. 

Addy was really into using my camera and capturing the safari animals.  Here are some of her shots:

Baby giraffes - they were adorable!

Charlotte was really into the characters.  And her favorite is Mickey Mouse for sure!  The first time we stood in line for Mickey Charlotte was a mess.  She was so upset she had to wait that she worked herself into a huge fit.  The entire line of 50 people had to listen to her wail away while other kids got their pictures.
By the time we were next up I almost left with her she was so visibly upset.  Finally it was our turn.  Mickey was so sweet and got down on a knee and opened his arms to her.  She ran into his arms wailing away. 

She quickly calmed down as she clung to his neck.  Addy and I were dying laughing at the spectacle. When she finally smiled and posed for this picture the entire room burst into applause.  It was a really fun moment.

I was surprised that even by herself Charlotte loved meeting the characters.  On Addy's birthday while Addy and Daddy were off riding Mt. Everett a bunch of times, Char and I waited in line twice to spend some time with her favorite Mouse.

A highlight of the trip for Scott (look at that happy, giddy face) was vindication that there are alligators in Celebration lake - evidence below.
