It was important to us to capture a memory of both girls this fall.  We had some really important milestones to celebrate.  Addy started kindergarten and Charlotte turned one.  I got a chance to have a long time friend Tiffany Jasper come out and take photos for us.

Tiffany owns Jasper Photography.  When I say we are long time friends I mean it.  We started preschool together a really long time ago and spent most of our childhood growing up together.  So it was really fun to reconnect and work with someone so talented and with whom I share so much history.

I am not sure captions could do these imagines justice.  Here are Addy's kindergarten shots and Charlotte's one year photos.  Enjoy!

If you remember Addy had a long love affair with tape.  Remember this?

Addy's little sister is showing some signs that she also will have a love for tape.  Check this out:

Random Holiday Happenings

Sick kids and busy schedules not withstanding we've started the holiday festivities off with some decorations.

Christmas movies!

Charlotte got all ready for Thanksgiving with the family in her new dress and vest - so cute.  She would not sit still for a photo, so these are of my literally chasing her around.

Addy had prepared a specials surprise versus to read at dinner.

And then on Friday we headed over to a second holiday feast and surprise party for Jeff.  I made deviled eggs for the first time ever.  I know, crazy.  With bacon.  And chives.  Yum!  It occurs to me this picture would be so much better if I had a deviled egg tray.

Catch up

Yikes - these last few weeks has been crazy and my computer breaks and poor little Charlie Brown gets the epic illness (lasting 2 months, 4 rounds of antibiotics, and about a gazillon dr appts).  All of a sudden I am way behind.  Here is a super quick update on some random stuff from the last few weeks.

Addy wanted to postpone her actual birthday party until the new Hands On Museum opened.  We left sickie Charlotte with my parents for a couple of hours and got a chance to celebrate Addy's October birthday with all her friends from school.  It was great!!

Addy was so thrilled with the day, she immediately broke open her new diary and started in writing.

This poor girl has been through a lot.  Literally 4 different antibiotics, specialists, you name it.  We are still going to a follow up appointment tomorrow checking on how things are going.  Seriously, she's been ill since her birthday.

Addy and I made some boxes for her charity project at school.  We had a very fun time shopping and putting everything together.  There are so many great things about Addy's school and someday I will post about it, but one of them is their philosophy on service and providing for others.

Scott and I got a date night at some point - Orange Dreamcicles with our besties!

How great is it when two of your favorite things come together like this:

This girl has been a trooper through all her ailments.  We continue to pray for her improved health!
