Bon Jovi

You Give Love a Bad Name, I'll Be There for You, Wanted Dead or Alive . . . it was a sweet trip back to the wonder years for me! And all night long we got to drool over this:

Um, could the guy get any hotter? No. He. Could. Not.

But lets back up a moment. Here are the boys with our gifts (and come on these guys are even better then Jon):

Addy sent us off in style:

We were so excited waiting for the show to start.

We had great seats, we could see everything on stage and on the screens. Then they came out into the audience on a closer stage at one point. How dreamy! Sigh.

Yeah, we pretty much rocked out the entire night! Oh yeah, I lost it when they finished with Wanted and then Livin' on a Prayer. It was beyond the best. Sigh, again.

I'm pretty sure I looked this giddy all night! (Check out the 7 ft guy that parked in front of us, didn't even phase us, we were so happy to be there.) But just a point of clarification, I am not suggesting for a minute that Jon has replaced Nikki - but its close. :)

Rewind to V-Day

Before I can move forward I have to rewind to last weekend and show some of the pictures of our V-Day weekend fun. We started with Brandy's birthday party. Addy made Brandy a gift all by herself, she was so excited.

It all started at Costco that morning. She likes to hold the receipt for the guy to check. Once we got out of the store she informed us that would be Brandy's gift. When we got home she was all kinds of serious about folding it and taping it up just right. She wrapped it in Christmas wrap, which she picked out. It was too cute.

Now that Addy has discovered barbies, Gracie and Addy played them together.

After the birthday girl got her gifts and cupcakes, and we sang happy birthday to her - the guys surprised us with a Valentine's Day present. There were three clues we had to use to discover our Valentine's Day gift.

Scott played our final clue:

Oh my did the boys do a VERY good job!

Tickets to the Bon Jovi concert!! (Stay tuned we went to the concert last night - FABULOUS!!!! Pics to come later.)

Then it was on to Addy's Valentine's Day party on Sunday morning. It was so much fun to have all our friends come over and hang out with us!

We did some arts and crafts:

We decorated heart cookies for Valentine's Day. Addy was so excited that Zoe and her sister Gabriella could come!

How cute are these kids?

Caden getting some lunch.

We were blessed to get to spend time with so many of our wonderful friends and their families.

It was a wonderful weekend. I am so lucky to have a wonderful valentine every day of the year!

The Office

Do you ever wonder where I spend all my time when I am not doing the things that I normally post about? Right here!

My special place - well not that special, but in its own way I love my office. Although noticing it needs a little pop of color - pretty boring. (I am sure Jeff can help me with that - see later in the post.) I'm right next to my two close office buddies Mark and Jeff. Love that these pictures show off their personalities, Mark smiling and hanging out, Jeff all serious and business like.

That Jeff, he is so serious. At least until Valentines Day. Um, hello??

Rose petals (fake of course), window stickers, plastic flowers, balloons, candy, hearts, Valentine's peeps . . . yikes!

The Bono reference is an inside joke, and a little shout out to who performed this transformation. This is my personal favorite - the shiny heart material draped dramatically over the chair with a little bubble wrap underneath.

Oh la la! The Labor Relations Office was transformed into a sappy Valentine's Day display.

Twinsies

Anytime that I wear one of my scarves, Addy wears my other one so we look even more alike then we already do with matching haircuts.

The Big Re-Do

The last few weeks I've been working on projects for Addy's new room. With the big girl bed comes the new and improved decor.

This weekend was the big re-do. Saturday morning we cleaned the closet, Addy helped by trying on all the random things she found.

We unpacked and moved the changing table out.

We were all set to move on to the fun part but then Addy surprised us with the stomach flu. Yikes! Funny how priorities change in a moment. Lots of rest and snuggles for Little this weekend. She is still feeling terrible tonight. Bless her heart we were supposed to go to dinner with Niki tonight and Addy is crushed that we can't go! I promised her another time with dessert!

Feel better soon little one!
