The Tooth Fairy
Even though Addy hasn't lost any new teeth lately, thanks to a friend at school who has been talking about some website with the toothfairy, she's been spending a lot of time sending notes back and forth with Gwendolyn, her tooth fairy. She left this note for her friend last weekend. It was cute, she was a bit worried that her bedtime would be a problem so she was pretty specific about the best time for her friend to come and visit.

Meet My Friend!
Hi! This is Charlotte. I wanted to introduce you to my new best friend. Her name is step stool. I love her. A LOT.
I love to slap my hands on her. And some times I talk tough to her too. She is partial to my babble.
You ready for this people? I am not sure you can handle these tricks. Try to keep up.
I can push and shove her all over the house. (Pretty nice mullet I got working huh?)
Look at me go.
Yup all the way across the kitchen.
And I can sit on step stool any time I want.
Mommy thinks I am adorable playing with my friend and takes too many pictures. What you don't see here are all the times I stand on step stool, Mommy has to put down the camera then.
Why does Mommy always take these type of pictures, I mean really? Saggy diaper? Have some class Mom.
The next day after dinner I introduced my sister Addy to my best friend. She thought it was pretty cool.
I showed her how I can climb on step stool.
I like to tell step stool what to do. She listens really well. Most of the time.
Then big sister Addy tried to take over my step stool. That wasn't cool. I whined a bit. And I may have pushed her a little bit. Or a lot.
She was laughing at me pushing her. This was not acceptable.
In the end I waited her out and she got bored and moved on. Not me. I got to spend some one on one time with my BFF.

Addy Day
Friday we got to spend the day with Addy when school was closed. We had a great day just the three of us. Addy and I got matching BFF necklaces, which broke about 20 minutes later, but were thoroughly enjoyed until they broke.
In the afternoon we took Addy bowling for the first time. At first she struggled with the heavy ball and not hitting many pins. We were worried we'd made an error in talking her into trying it.
And then . . . magic. She decided to be our "angle expert" and came up with us each time to give us some advice on angles. She got really into it.
Giving Daddy an approval high five for working the angles just right!

Felt so blessed to spend the day together. It doesn't happen much now that the three of us get to go out together like that.

Just Dance
We've been doing quite a bit of Just Dance challenges around the house. We just got a new game and so we've been trying out all the new routines.
Here's Charlotte doing her best to get into the competition. She's been watching us play.

Adding In a Bear Crawl
This girl definitely has her own style. As she moves toward walking she has this new bear crawl. In this little video clip you see her go from bear crawl, to normal craw,l to her scootchin. Not sure where she gets this from. At school on Friday she was perfecting the bear crawl and ended up getting a rug burn on her forehead and nose. She is pretty silly.

Hanging Out
Last Friday Charlotte had some mysterious red spots when she woke up. Chicken pox? A lesser version of hand, foot, mouth again? A reaction to the antibiotics? Never did figure it out. There were only about 12-15 and more never came. But I couldn't take her to school with spots and we weren't sure what was up.
So we hung out together. We had a nice quiet day. Sort of . . .
We thought it would be fun to pose together for some self pics.
We practiced a lot of walking.
Watching a little Baby Einstein's. So here is my super sneaky plan. I am attempting to introduce these vidoes to Charlotte so later in the year when we fly she will consider sitting still to watch a little of the videos on the plane so that we don't get kicked off. Charlotte is a handful when it comes to attempting to keep her in one spot for more then a half-second. Not sure this will make me the best mom in the world, but if it gets us all through a flight I am pretty okay with it.
Here is the really funny thing. Each time one of the little toys or things comes forward she immediately sat forward and opened her mouth as if to put her mouth on it. This was pretty funny.
Some times she'd flop back and get comfy. This all lasted about 5-7 minutes. But it was an entertaining 5-7 minutes.
I made a little video while I was laughing. Enjoy!

Pumpkins
I feel like the last few weeks have been a little bit of a blur, we've really had a lot of outings, events and activities going. We had an excellent trip to the pumpkin patch with our friends Rhema and Lexy's family. We got there plenty early and got to take full advantage of the empty patch. It was great. The girls had a great time, Charlotte did pretty well and we came away with good memories and nice big pumpkins.
I really really really love this picture. Fast forward a few years . . . can you just see it now! These girls had a blast together.
This litte one fit right in - what a sweet little pumpkin! (Yup, check out the adorable pumpkin sweater - I was so happy to remember to put her in it before we left the house.)
Always the curious cat, Charlotte was all about hanging over the side of the cat walk to see the girls running through the maze.
We comendeered some corn to feed the donkeys. Addy was not okay with that and sat in the wagon, she is not an animal lover when it comes to up close and personal. Lexy and Rhema were all over it.
This was my favorite part. Except for the 22 lb baby I was hauling all over the field in my arms. The pumpkin patch.
Notice above looking all brave. And in the one below you can see Rhema is really not so sure.
Did we have a fun morning or what??

The Big 6
Addy decided she wanted to visit the Hands On Museum for her birthday - which is closed until next month. So, we did a low key family birthday on her real birthday and will do a friends party next month at the new museum. We were lucky to celebrate her special day with her Grandma and Grandpa and our family friends the P's. Another Scooby Doo party . . .
I love Addy's birthday being in October because we can always add some "spooky" into the mix.
We made a Scooby Doo graveyard.
All the kids showed up in their spooky shirts for the big party - even Charlotte who was ready for cupcake.
We created a mystery to be sloved. The Case of the Missing Ya-Ya.
Reading the clues.
After solving a bunch of tricky clues Addy and her friends found Ya-Ya. And guess who it was? There was a vote for Mommy, one for Grandpa and one for Daddy.
Oh my goodness, it was Big, Evil Baby!
She says, "Who me?"
Addy loved her presents!
Checking out the cemetary.
Happy 6th Birthday my Addy Bear!!
Thanks for celebrating with us!
