Snow, Fish Face and Cupcakes

Just a few of the things we've been up to:

Here Little is wearing her new socks she got for Easter. When she looks down and sees the ducks she does the quack dance! (And they aren't too tight Niki!)

This was just a little bit crazy . . . check out the snow we got on March 26th. Can you believe we got snow that late in the year?

Addy has really been hamming it up in front of the mirror lately. She can barely make a fish face before she cracks herself up.

Saturday we went to Scott's work party. Little was all dressed up and ready to dance.

Most Sunday mornings you can find us at Starbucks visiting with our great friends Trish and Aaron and their little girl Rhema. Trisha and I grew up together and we can't wait for our girls to make some memories together!

Addy is really getting tall. She's thinning out a bit and this weekend I noticed that she is getting taller by the day (thank goodness, she's catching up with those big feet).

The year of baking continues, check out these marvelous cupcakes. I'll even share the recipe.

After her bath when it was time to say good night to the puppies Addy decided she had to get on her bike one more time.

I don't see you, so you can't see me!

Addy loves to fill up the basket in the front and the container on the back of the bike. She then gets on and sits. Then she'll get off unload everything and start again. :)

Watching the Wiggles

Addy loves the Wiggles - here are some shots of her sitting on the couch and watching her favorite show. Too funny!

Often she'll do this with her feet or pull her socks half off and chew on them. :)

She's starting to do some of the movements and dances! It is a hoot.

Easter Day

Hopefully everyone had a wonderful holiday! Thanks for coming over Mom and Dad and helping us celebrate.

Addy's pretty Easter dress:

Addy couldn't wait for Grandma and Grandpa T. to arrive for the festivities:

Hands-On

I fell behind a bit on my blogging this month since I've been spending quite a bit of time in Seattle for work. Also, we've all been sick off and on for the last 6 weeks. Anyway, a while ago we took Addy to the Children's Hands-on Museum. She had a blast!

First we walked around the capital where Mommy works.

We visited the World War II memorial and saw Addy's great, great uncle's memorial tile.

Little went nuts at the museum, there is so much to see and do!

She took a great nap that afternoon!

Easter Egg Hunt

Jodi and I took Wyatt and Addy out to the Tumwater Easter Egg Hunt Saturday morning. Addy was all dressed up cute and ready to go. Check out her "I scream for ice cream" outfit.

First, of course, we had to do coffee! Check out the kids at Starbucks.

Addy knows how to say I love you in sign language - sort of. Isn't this adorable? This is how she says I love you with her hand. :)

I wasn't sure how Addy would do, but she got the idea. The countdown finished and she hustled out onto the field and found 4 eggs all by herself. Then she was done, while everyone else was running for more Addy just stopped and dumped hers out and then picked them back up. :)

Wow, look at all my eggs!

Addy was anxious to check out what was inside the eggs:

Wyatt and Little also really liked the recycle bins that everyone tossed the empty eggs into . . . they spent a lot of time with their hands in the bin.

What a fun time! Thanks for inviting us! Wyatt gives Addy some loves.

Addy also had to spend some time checking out the puddles on the way back to the car!

Can't wait for Easter Day!

Weekend Fun

Just a few shots from the last week and this weekend.

Like mother like daughter . . . here is Addy enjoying dipping her graham cracker into chocolate.

Addy and I did some self portraits - we were having a blast taking shots and then looking at them and taking more.

Scott finally came over and shot one for us.

Does anyone recognize this guy? (Think old school rap)

This weekend when our friends came over Gavin got into the dress up drawer and came out looking like a little flavor flav! So funny!

Here we are enjoying the nice weather on the porch. Addy and Daddy are sharing a snack.

See you soon!
