Summer Dance Fun

Addy had her recital at the park this last weekend.  It was a lovely night.  It was a short summer class and it was nice they did a short recital for everyone to perform.

The diva herself sassing it up with all kinds of poses on the way out the door:

I noticed she was much more confident and seemed to really enjoy herself at this recital.  I think she is finding herself in this process.

Uncle Jeff is here to visit and he got to come see the recital.  Addy has fallen in love all over again with Jeff this trip.  He is the most incredibly sweet and loving Uncle to our girls.  They are very blessed.

Charlotte stayed entertained for the most part.  Grandma and Grandpa helped a lot.

This girl likes music and likes dancing.  She was pretty happy to watch the dancing . . . for now.

Here is the video.  Its long, but I want to make sure I post it so the granparents can see it!

Rainiers Game

My parents watched Charlotte a couple of weekend's ago so that Scott, Addy and I could go to the Rainiers game where Scott's office was doing a summer party.  It is always special when we get time with Addy.  She is amazing and its nice to have time to soak that in without the extra attention necessary for a toddler.  Plus, Grandma and Grandpa get Charlotte time!

We have a great time together.

Addy was totally hooked on the temporary spray paint "tattoos".  She had about 10 by the time we left.

My Girl

My Charlotte is a wild one.  She always runs.  Everywhere.  She loves water and being outside.  She likes toys that she can throw or that move.

Charlotte is tough.  She falls down or gets hurt and just keeps going.  A few months back she jammed her toes and couldn't walk for two days.  She just started crawling all over again.

She constantly has bruises and scrapes from her adventures.  Which are such a contrast to her big baby blues and soft, fine blond hair.

She is stubborn.  She doesn't have a lot of words, but she will keep at you until you get her point.  I am anxious to her what her doctor says of her vocabulary.  She is learning more and more words, but isn't really a big talker.  She babbles all day long but not a ton of words for us.

She doesn't follow the rules.  Addy would never think to up end the pool like this.  For charlotte, it is all fair game.  Charlotte is creative in a very mischevious way.

I have the hardest time getting pictures of her.  She is constantly in motion.  Always running on to the next big adventure.

Look at that smile.  She loves exploring and running.  She's our wild child for sure!
